Mr. Schwartz founded Cromwell Asset Partners in 2016, building a secondary and tertiary market life settlement brokerage with a focus on institutional-quality transaction flow and a disciplined, process-driven approach to deal origination. The firm established direct relationships with the origination networks and provider channels that continue to serve as primary sourcing for Apex Capital Partners today.

In 2020, Mr. Schwartz founded Apex Settlement Group, a licensed life settlement provider operating in New York. Apex Settlement Group acts as a primary origination channel for the life settlement portfolios managed by Apex Capital Partners, creating a vertically integrated sourcing-to-management pipeline that eliminates reliance on external origination intermediaries at the provider level.

His combined brokerage and provider experience gives him direct visibility into deal flow dynamics, pricing conditions, carrier quality, and counterparty relationships across the life settlement market — informing acquisition discipline and portfolio construction across Apex’s strategies.
